National Nursing Home Week 2026

🎪🤡 Welcome to the Circus 🤡🎪

The circus came to town this week, and we enjoyed every moment of the festivities. Each day was filled with delicious circus treats, fun games, and plenty of laughter — our bellies and hearts were full! It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement, so a few photo opportunities may have slipped by, but here are some wonderful pictures captured by our staff throughout the week.

As we wrapped up the week yesterday, we also took time to celebrate David “Mouch” Moses in honor of Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day.

David truly is a jack-of-all-trades. Whether it’s fixing something that’s broken, helping with the heavy lifting, or stepping in wherever he’s needed, he plays an essential role in keeping our facility running smoothly. He brings a positive attitude to work each day and always takes the time to ensure our building is safe and comfortable for our residents.

We are incredibly grateful for David and all that he contributes to our team. Thank you, Mouch, for your dedication and hard work!

As Social Service Director, Kelci brings a unique blend of compassion, leadership, and teamwork to Crowley. Her progression from CNA to CMT, Activity Director, Dietary Manager, and ultimately Social Service Director demonstrates her capabilities and dedication. Kelci consistently prioritizes the needs of our residents, and her positive attitude makes her a valuable asset. We are grateful for her commitment to our team and the residents we serve.

Friday was a day of celebration at CRCC—and now we want your help celebrating a couple of our own!

Our 2025 STAR of the Year—Maranda Cato
Randa has been a blessing to us at Crowley from the start! She has such a big heart and puts so much care into everything she does! She has an amazing work ethic—if you feel a slight breeze but don’t see a thing..it was probably Randa zooming by to her next task! Our residents praise her and her work frequently. Randa is a great team player and she is always willing to help where needed! We appreciate her more than she knows! ❤️

Our January 2026 STAR of the Month-Joey Haw
Joey is one of a kind—caring, hardworking, and so funny! Not only does he provide excellent care to our residents, but he is frequently the reason for the smiles on their faces! Our residents and their family members always give us compliments on how great he is! Joey puts his all into everything he does and we are so thankful to have him as part of our team! ❤️

We also treated Joey and Randa’s rotation with lunch for their dedication to our residents during this winter weather! We had NO CALL INS from our nursing staff last weekend (Mary, Randa, Joey, Bri, Mariah, Terri) —many spent the night at the facility to be sure they were here for their shifts! We are blessed with amazing staff here at Crowley and we are so thankful to each and every one of you for all you do! ❤️

While we prepped for the winter weather yesterday, we also celebrated National Pie Day! We had different options to try—even a savory Shepards Pie! Yumm! 😋 A big thank you to our staff members that brought in pies for us try!
