Dr. Laliberte completed three externships each providing a fundamental base for practicing primary care full scope optometry. The externships included Beaumont Hospital specializing in low vision and contact lenses, the Duane L. Waters Hospital in Jackson Michigan, emphasizing ocular disease management and the Saginaw Special Needs Clinic focusing on pediatric care and low vision needs. Dr. Laliberte received the Wesley Jessen Contact Lens Fitting Award upon graduation for proficiency in contact lens fitting. She specializes in bifocal and monovision contacts for those with near vision needs. Dr. Laliberte has an honest, straight forward approach to practicing optometry. Her belief is that every patient has the right to know exactly what is going on with their eyes and all the options available to them whether it includes glasses, contact lenses, vision therapy or surgery.
