Sister Serafia and Sister Michael, Daughters of St. Francis, serve in Mercy’s Springfield communities and recently gathered for Mass and lunch with Bishop Rice. Afterward, they took their very first visit to Bass Pro Shops and the smiles say it all.

Recess could wait when Sister Angelique had a story to tell. In April 1998, she read to kiddos at the Mercy Co-Worker’s Children Center in St. Louis. She served at Mercy Hospitals in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas and spent many years at in radiologic technology. Many co-workers still remember the joy and energy she brought to both the classroom and the hospital halls.

As Mercy caregivers, we're inspired to continue their mission to help meet the needs we see around us. Our caregivers recently donated paper goods and laundry detergent to the Stoddard County Childrens Home to help their students as they return to school this month. 💛 As all of Stoddard County heads back, we're wishing teachers, staff and students a fun, safe and healthy school year ahead!

We’re looking for passionate individuals wanting to give back to others in their community. Our Volunteer Services team is accepting applications for the gift shop and welcome desk. In addition to providing a warm welcome, our volunteers are responsible for ensuring patients have the correct location for their appointments and are safely transported to these departments.
