๐ 98th National FFA Convention! ๐
What an incredible week our chapter had attending the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana! From learning experiences to unforgettable adventures, this trip was one for the books!
We are beyond proud of Taaron Drake for earning her American FFA Degree โ the highest honor an FFA member can achieve! Watching her walk across that stage was an inspiration to us all and a reminder of what hard work and dedication in this program can lead to. ๐
Our trip was packed with fun and learning! We:
๐ฏ Visited Hunterโs Honey Farm, where we learned the โbuzzโ behind honey production, bottled our own honey, and even taste-tested different kinds!
๐ท๐ Explored Fair Oaks Farms, touring both the pig and dairy farms to see agriculture in action.
๐ฑ Celebrated our trip with dinner at a local favorite Japanese steakhouse, where we enjoyed great food and even better company.
๐ค Attended multiple convention sessions, heard from national officers and a guest speaker from California, and explored the Expo Center, meeting colleges, businesses, and FFA members from across the nation!
๐ Enjoyed a hilarious hypnotist show โ especially since a few of our own members were part of the fun!
๐ Took a behind-the-scenes tour of Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.
โพ๏ธ Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum, where we learned how bats are made for both pros and fans alike.
๐ฆ Dined at Joeโs Crab Shack, giving a few of our members their very first taste of seafood!
๐ค Ended the week with the Three Hills Rodeo, an awesome way to wrap up our convention adventures.
A huge thank you goes out to our administration and booster club for their continued support โ none of this would be possible without you! ๐๐
We came home with full hearts, new friendships, and even more motivation to keep growing as leaders in agriculture. ๐พ๐ช
