Wow that was a bit of a whirlwind!
Shipped a box of sashes to Japan on 11/30, typically or in years past it took no more than 12 days to get to its destination, but this time the box was delivered today. From the sounds of it the sashes were not ruined, a little creased on the folds from sitting in the box so long. But they are home! Yay! And now they can be given out as gifts for their event.

One of the unpleasant things about being a business owner is shipping.
As if shipping in the US isn't complicated alone, shipping to another country adds another layer of complication.
Recently USPS has added a third party to shipping internationally, and it isn't always an issue but I recently shipped to Japan and it got complicated. But with enough pestering we were able to get the package back on track. 2 weeks later than it should have been but back on track. I am so excited to see it tracking again.

My ironing mat was a casualty today! I was cutting a thick chunk of satin and the mat got caught up in the pile. Whoops!

Good thing I have a replacement mat but now I got find that safe place I have for it.
