🏊‍♂️ **Exciting News for our swimmers! Registration Now Open for Fall Preseason for Dickinson Dolphins Swim Club!** 🏊‍♀️

We're thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for the following groups:

- **Flippers**
- **Age Group 1**
- **Age Group 2 & 3/Senior Nationals**

Make a splash and continue to grow your skills with our awesome coaches in a supportive team environment.

🗓️ **Practice Begins on August 4th at 8am for AG1, AG2&3/Senior Nationals, and Flippers at 9:30am. Then starting August 18th we switch to our evening schedule.**

Dear Swim Families,

I’m sorry to share that, due to ongoing staffing shortages, we must cancel Preseason for our Flippers group for the month of August, as well as the August 11 – September 25 session for our PreMinnows and Minnows groups.

In addition to staffing challenges, the WRCC has informed us that the leisure pool will be closed from July 28 through August 17. To avoid potential disruptions due to unexpected complications with construction, we’ve made the decision to minimize our use of the lap pool during this time as well.

We are actively working to secure coaching staff for the October session of PreMinnows and Minnows, but we do not yet have a firm commitment. We’re doing everything we can to get those groups back on track and will update you as soon as we have more information.

As for the Flippers group, we’re hopeful they will return to the water for September and October prior to the start of the Short Course season, but again, we can’t confirm that just yet.

The board and our current coaching team are working together to come up with solutions, preparing job postings looking to hire new coaches and reach out to former staff who may be available to return.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and want you to know this decision was not made lightly. We explored multiple options before concluding that this was the most responsible course of action given our current resources.

Thank you for your continued support of the club. We hope this unexpected break allows your family a little more time to rest, prepare and enjoy the last few weeks of summer before school begins.
