Peanut butter and pumpkin dog treats.
Bake at 350°
Baking Time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
• 2.5 c Whole Wheat Flour
• 1 t Cinnamon
Put in a bowl. Whisk or stir with a fork.
> 2 eggs in another bowl so you can beat them
> In a separate large bowl add:
• 2/2 c Peanut butter
• 1/2 c Pumpkin puree
> Mix eggs, peanut butter and pumpkin until blended
Slowly add in the wheat/cinnamon. Make sure the dough isn't too stiff. If it is, add a little bit of water.
~ Once you have the dough mixed thoroughly, put some flour on the surface you will roll the dough on. Roll to about half inch or a little less.
**You can use dog cutters or just run a pizza dough cuter up to make stops. Then go the other way to make into small treat size.
- I did use the cookie cutter, hmm it was ok but when making small treat size your hand get tired.
- I also used the silicone with dog bone and paw prints, let's just say it takes more time to fill she mold.
- I found that rolling the dough and using the pizza cutter made it go so much faster.
Sure, it's nice to see the bones and paws but believe me your dog doesn't care. They only want to eat them 🤭
> Put in the preheated 350° oven and check them 30 minutes later, unless your dough is thinner than 1/2 inch.
NOTE: Pumpkin is a good source of fiber which can lead to regularity. As with all treats, don't substitute them for their regular food and don't give too many during the day. They are good for training or when your furbaby was good when it came time to use the outdoor facility 🤗.
