We are excited to welcome Chad Nicholson, MD, an Interventional Cardiologist joining the DMA Cardiology team on December 8th!

Dr. Nicholson specializes in heart disease and peripheral arterial disease, bringing advanced training in coronary interventions, peripheral vascular care, aortic and carotid diseases, and venous interventions. He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and General Cardiology, with additional certification in Nuclear Cardiology.

Before medicine, Dr. Nicholson earned his Chemistry degree from Georgia Tech and served as a Senior Research Technician at Emory University School of Medicine, contributing to numerous publications. His medical training continued at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Nicholson enjoys hiking, running with his dog, traveling with his wife, Eliza, and cheering on his favorite Atlanta sports teams.
