Our Story

Yoga of Dickson is a wellness center offering Yoga for beginners and beyond including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yoga & Recovery, Meditation, Pranayama (breath work), Massage Therapy, Tai Chi and Reiki Healing. All of our teachers and practitioners are experienced and certified in their field.

You will learn how to take care of yourself mentally and physically through connecting to your inner source. We have transformed hundreds of students over the last nine years. Through the practice, you will gain strength and tone the body, stamina, flexibility and overall wellness. The following goals can be reached: Weight loss, mental clarity, lower blood pressure, eating healthier, strengthen immune system, increase metabolism, oxygenate your blood by learning to control your breathing, pain management (especially if medications do not work), better sleep, detoxify the body and mind. By learning yoga and meditation, you will have control of your body. You will learn how to relax and detach from the monkey mind (spinning thoughts, worries, concerns). You will begin to feel like you are flowing downstream instead of paddling upstream.

Yoga & meditation also helps with the following: fibromyalgia , anxiety, depression, the inability to sit still, diabetes, lack of circulation, high cholesterol or heart disease (with doctor consent), spine misalignment (works hand in hand with chiropractic care), aids in recovery from physical injuries (with doctor consent), ADHD, ADD, PTSD, Other mental disorders (with consent from your therapist) and much much more.
