"Those early lessons helped me turn things around. But I didn't want the grace I'd been shown to end with me. I wanted to help others in their darkest times."

A brand new 2025 Brown University review analyzed 16 studies with over 150,000 participants and found that just 31 days without alcohol creates measurable improvements in liver function, sleep, mood, brain health, and blood pressure.

Participants who completed Dry January reported better sleep, improved mood, weight loss, healthier liver function, lower blood pressure, better concentration, and more energy. Most importantly, the majority continued drinking less even after January ended.

Even a short break from alcohol allows your body to heal and reset. Are you going to try Dry January? I'm curious about your thoughts!

We’ve been taught to treat hangovers like a joke, a rite of passage, something we’re supposed to laugh about the next day.

But a hangover isn’t normal. It’s your body in distress. The headaches, the shaking, the anxiety, the exhaustion, the dread, These are signs your body is struggling to recover from something it’s not designed to handle.

And if you drink to the point where you’re throwing up, that isn’t harmless or casual. That is your body’s last-ditch effort to get the toxin out before it causes real damage.

Your body doesn’t reject things that support you. It rejects things that threaten you.

Save this for when you need the reminder or share in case someone needs to see this too.
