It is with a heavy heart I have to say goodbye to all my patients. As of last week I decided to retire. After 35 yrs with McLeod they decided to end my contract as it was. They wouldn’t tell me why. The wouldn’t even have the courtesy to let me say goodbye to all of you properly. But yall know I will always be here for you. You guys know how to get in touch with me. Dozens of calls I have recieved from you guys begging me to stay but that’s out of my control. This decision has also taken a huge weight off my shoulders. I feel sad leaving all of you but happy with all the opportunities that have come my way. For now I’m not making any decisions but thoroughly enjoying my freedom! I will tell you something I’ve learned from this experience: when people don’t appreciate you, don’t try to change their minds by changing yourself, they will bluntly lie and confuse you, be yourself and stick to it. To all my staff I’m so glad you were all in my life, we were like family and I will always be grateful to you guys for your hard work and guidance. And to those that stab you in the back take it as a little scratch put a bandage and go on because God will take care of you. I’m so happy God gave me the opportunity to be part of each one of you patients, and staff. I will always love you and don’t hesitate to call me anytime.
