We’re grateful for strong community partners who invest in families.

This week, our Executive Director had the honor of attending a Parenting Completion Ceremony hosted by P*e Dee Coalition — a meaningful celebration of parents who committed time, effort, and heart to strengthening their families.

Programs like their parenting classes play an important role in supporting parents with practical tools, encouragement, and a sense of hope as they move forward. We’re thankful for organizations like P*e Dee Coalition who walk alongside families and help build healthier futures for our community.

👉 We’re proud to share and refer to their work.

Our Heartbeat Tree isn’t just a Christmas tradition — it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.

Each ornament and stocking represents a family walking through a season that can feel overwhelming. This tree exists to remind them — and us — that support, hope, and compassion are never out of reach.

Thank you for helping us keep that message at the center of our work.

This week, our Christmas Heartbeat Tree came to life.

Because of the generosity of our supporters, families we serve were surrounded with care, dignity, and reminders that they are not alone. Each gift under this tree represents someone who chose to show up quietly and lovingly for a family in our community.

Thank you for helping us create a space where compassion is felt — not just spoken.

Three years ago, a young mom in our community shared a powerful testimony at our Gala — a testimony of hope, healing, and the life-changing difference your Pregnancy Center can make.
Her journey wasn’t easy, but through prayer, compassion, and steady support, she stepped into motherhood with courage and confidence.

Today she and her little boy are thriving.

We’ve recently added her full story to our website because it continues to show what God can do through the faithful support of this community.

Our Heartbeat Tree is officially up for the Christmas season, and it’s one of our favorite traditions each year.

Each heart-shaped tag represents a child from one of the families we’re serving. The ornaments include a first name, age, and a short list of gift needs to help make Christmas a little brighter. (Names are changed to protect privacy.)

If you’d like to be part of this tradition and choose a child to bless please contact us. We’ll also be sharing updates inside our Supporter Group for those who want to follow along or stay involved throughout the season.

Thank you to everyone who helps shine hope and kindness into our community — especially during this season. Your generosity makes a real difference for moms, dads, and little ones right here in Dillon County.

🌷 Volunteer Highlight:

Elizabeth Alderman & Jane MacDonell

When the Lord calls, amazing things happen.

What began as a single women’s Bible Study has now grown into two thriving classes — Beginner and Advanced — each one led with love and devotion by Elizabeth Alderman and Jane MacDonell.

Elizabeth, who wrote and designed the very study books now used in our classes, and Jane, whose compassion and warmth draw every woman in, have helped dozens of moms grow in their faith and confidence. Together, they’ve walked beside women as they rediscover church, pray aloud for the first time, and begin to share their faith with others.

Their quiet leadership has built more than classes — it’s built community. And that same spirit of discipleship is now inspiring new groups, including a growing Men’s Bible Study.

Please join us in thanking these two women for their faith, creativity, and obedience to God’s call.

✝️ “Faith over fear” — they don’t just teach it, they live it.

It meant the world to us to be invited to share our story at the SCAPCC Fall Leadership Conference.

Our team walked away encouraged, energized, and even more committed to the mission ahead.

Here’s what Sarah shared after the event: “The event was so well done, and the hosting center was beautiful. Cynthia did a great job speaking on all that TPC has been doing and how the grant helped move us forward.”

It’s humbling to represent a small center in a small county and still have a voice on a statewide stage.

🙏 Please pray for us as we continue to walk this medical journey. And thank you for being a part of it with us.

Our Ministry

The Pregnancy Center of Dillon County was formerly known as Carolina Family Planning Center of Dillon. Our goal is to serve as a resource to parents and families who find themselves under-prepared or overwhelmed by an unplanned pregnancy or parenting and desire to move beyond their current circumstances to achieve God’s plan and purpose in their lives and the lives of their children through spiritual, practical, and material assistance.
