If your Botox isn’t lasting as long as you expected… it’s not always the Botox 👀
One of the biggest misconceptions is that everyone should get the same timeline but the truth is, your body, your muscles, and your lifestyle all play a role in how long your results stick around.
Here’s what could be affecting it👇🏼
Underdosing is one of the most common reasons Botox fades quickly. If the muscle isn’t fully relaxed from the start, movement comes back sooner, meaning your results won’t last as long as they should.
Some people naturally have stronger, more active muscles (especially in areas like the forehead or between the brows). These muscles often need more units to hold the result.
If you work out often or have a naturally fast metabolism, your body can break down Botox quicker than average. It doesn’t mean it won’t work it just may not last as long.
Your first round of Botox typically doesn’t last as long as when you stay consistent. Over time, muscles “learn” to relax and results tend to last longer.
Things like stress, sun exposure, and overall skincare habits can impact how your results hold up over time.
The goal isn’t just to “get Botox”… it’s to get the right amount for your face.
If you feel like yours wears off too fast, it’s usually a sign we need to adjust not that it doesn’t work for you.
