The day has finally arrived! Be Amazing LLC is all moved in to our new home!

It is that time of year again. If you are looking for Be Amazing gift certificates the easiest way to purchase them is by clicking on the book now button on our page Be Amazing LLC it will take you to our website. There is a gift certificate tab at the top of the page. You can choose your amount and the background and purchase, print or email from there. If you have trouble or need me to print it just let me know. They don't expire, and it stays on their record even if they lose the certificate itself. We can also do the purchase over the phone or in person but we do not have a receptionist, so we would have to schedule a time to do it either of those ways.

Today help us welcome a new therapist Tashana Garnier😁😁😁 She is sure to continue delivering our Amazing massages and her schedule is open for online booking. Here is her Bio in her own words:
I am a 2015 graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Branford Hall Career Institute. I specialize in Deep Tissue Massage with focus on addressing Trigger Points. I enjoy assessing muscles and joints of the body and administering massage techniques and stretches to alleviate pain and symptoms of stress. I have worked with a diverse client base ranging from Swedish massage for relaxation to complex orthopedic dysfunctions such as low back pain, neck pain, and shoulder discomfort. I am dedicated to providing an individualized experience for each client that graces my table.

I am Amy Mayes and I own Be Amazing LLC. I was born and raised in Dinwiddie County so it was a no brainer for me to want to open my massage therapy clinic here in the county. I am a firm believer that EVERYONE needs a massage, whether they have chronic pain, a health condition, just need some space to hit the reset button so that they can happily get on with their daily lives, or all three, massage can help. I want to make these benefits available here closer to home. You no longer have to drive an hour or pay an arm and a leg to get a great massage you can come right here.
We have 3 Amazing therapists, and though each of us have slightly different styles we all focus on relieving muscle tension while still providing a relaxing massage. We are all capable of pressures from deep to light, and will focus on what your needs are for your session. You can schedule an hour, a 90 minute or a 2 hour long session for theraputic massage. An hour or a 90 minute for prenatal massage. We can also accommodate couples several days a week for an hour or 90 minute sessions.

June 14, 2018 we celebrated our first Anniversary here at Be Amazing, and I am so gratified by the number of you that have tried us out for yourselves, and who have shared your happiness with friends and family! I am also thankful for those of you who have been very vocal about how massage has helped you feel better, and be better able to cope with the crazy lives we all lead. You guys are truly AMAZING and we really enjoy being allowed to help you do all that you do with a smile on your face.
I recently had a conversation with a new client that sums up why my job is so awesome. She told me that she had been telling a friend about her experience here, and that as she was talking to them she realized that her back pain had not returned since she had been coming for a monthly session here. It is this realization, that the absence of pain is possible, that creates such rabid fans of this type of therapy.
Now I am not saying that Massage Therapy is a cure all, or that everyone will get the same level of pain relief, or that massage will help every ailment. It won’t, but it is certainly a great tool to have in your tool box for recovery from injury or surgery, for non-pill based pain relief from chronic pain, or even just as a solid aid in maintaining your health and sense of wellbeing. I would argue that massage is the healthiest thing that you can do for yourself that also feels nice.
We have a few items of news to share with you. Shamica Hill, our purveyor of Awesomeliscousness, and her husband are expecting the 4th addition to the family this August. Congratulations you two!!! As those of you who have had the chance to receive a massage from Shamica understand, we will miss her, and her hands while she is on maternity leave! We are hoping to steal more of her massage time once she is able to return, so no pouting ya”ll!
In preparation for Shamica’s maternity leave we are welcoming a new therapist Jasmine Lee, who will be working every other Saturday from 8 to 1 starting on July 21st. You have all trusted me to provide you with wonderful therapists, and Jasmine is no exception. I can’t wait for you to meet her, and schedule some time on her table. You will be glad you did!
