Karina Dugand is a certified Health, Fitness & Life coach whose overall vision is to help others build stronger bodies and minds, reduce stress, lift their spirits, and bring more joy into their lives so they can achieve that better, stronger, healthier, happier version of themselves in 90 Days using the CSD3 method. The CSD3 method is a three component system created to transform their relationship to food, body, and lifestyle, through:

With the relentless demands of work and life responsibilities, we find ourselves struggling in the pursuit of trying to transform our health and bodies and we are looking for something greater. Sometimes we don’t know what to do to change, but more often it’s that we are stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out of it.

95% of our behavior occurs out of habit, either unconsciously or in reaction to external demands. That’s why we struggle to make lasting changes and even when the need for change is obvious and our intentions are strong, we often fall short. That’s a problem, and most of what the diet and health industry can offer is “Eat fewer calories and exercise more”. If that worked, it would’ve worked. Did you know that 98% of dieters gain the weight back? And that the average person makes the same health-related New Year’s resolutions ten separate times without success? Why is that? Because they don’t have support and accountability.​

Doctors, dietitians and other practitioners don’t have the time or the skills to help people stay motivated and follow through to get a lasting result. So, people default to their set habits, even when they know those habits make them feel lousy. Without the right system, support and accountability, this dysfunctional cycle will continue and, in many cases, get worse. That’s where Health/Life coaches like myself come in, to provide the right SYSTEM, SUPPORT and ACCOUNTABILITY so you can-finally- make that transformation you desire and to help you achieve what you want in your life.​

Through my personalized one on one training program, you will get all this in the privacy and comfort of a fully equipped studio. 3️⃣ Dance at Zumba with Karina: If somebody were to ask me, what things has always been a part of my life? Without even thinking, I would say, “Fitness and Dancing”. I grew up in a musical country, in a family where music was always present. I danced since I was a child. I was always a part of my school dance team, took private classes, and gave private and public dancing presentations as a group, as well as couple dancing. It was not only a way of life; it also brought me tremendous satisfaction. Today, thanks to ZUMBA, I can enjoy that passion once again and share it with others. While incorporating DANCE into my fitness routine, I am also offering the BEST cardiovascular exercise there is, “high energy interval cardio training” and ZUMBA gave me the opportunity to teach and share with everyone, all the fun, energy and benefits that cardiovascular exercise can bring, all while “having a blast”! MARCH 2026 MOTTO: IT TAKES COURAGE

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately…

It actually takes a lot of courage to live a life that’s true to you, especially when it doesn’t look like what most people think “the way” is supposed to look like.

We do this thing as humans where we look around and start checking…
Am I doing this right?
Should I be doing that instead?
Did I miss something?

You see someone doing something cool and the first thought is sometimes, “Oh man… we should have done that.”

But the more I think about it, the more I realize the real meaning of this important reminder:

“You can have it all… just not all at the same time.”

The world is full of interesting things, amazing experiences, cool paths to take… honestly more than any of us could possibly do in one lifetime.

So instead of thinking “I missed out,” maybe it’s better to think,
“That’s awesome… and right now I’m doing this.”

Following the crowd might feel safer… but sometimes the most fulfilling path is the one that actually matches who you are, not what everyone else is doing.

And that takes courage.

Courage to trust your timing.
Courage to follow your curiosity.
Courage to proudly walk your own trail… even when it doesn’t look like anyone else’s.

Anyway… just a little Friday reflection from my brain today.

If there’s one thing I’m reminding myself lately, it’s this:

Go follow your trail… the crazy, unique, maybe slightly dorky, sometimes misunderstood, occasionally questionable, but joyful YOU path.

I think that’s where the good stuff lives. 😄

MARCH 2026 MOTTO:
IT TAKES COURAGE

Inspired by the spirit of our Veterans, the true embodiment of courage.

Here’s something I believe with my whole heart:

Courage is a muscle.

Yes, we build muscle in the gym…but we also build muscle in our mind and character the exact same way.

You set a goal. Then you go to work.

And the work means moving forward through the things nobody loves, discomfort, uncertainty, doubt, risk.

Just like in strength training.

Nothing worth having comes easy. Strength doesn’t. Health doesn’t.
A meaningful life doesn’t.

So when things get hard on the road to something you want, don’t overthink the whole mountain. Just deal with what’s right in front of you.

One step. One rep. One choice.

One foot in front of the other.

With determination. With hope. With courage.

Sometimes it may feel like you’re not making progress. But if you keep showing up and keep moving forward, progress is happening, even if you can’t see it yet.

The real difference between people who reach their goals and those who don’t isn’t strength or knowledge.

It’s will.

The willingness to keep going.

Rest when you need to. But then get back up and get back to work.

Because in the end, success in fitness and in life, is built through daily acts of courage.

Be courageous. Be compassionate with your mistakes. And when life challenges you again (because it will), remind yourself:

I’ve got what it takes. I’ve got courage.

Now… let’s get to work.

💗 SELF LOVE FIRST. (February Motto).
Because everything else builds from there.

Let me ask you something:
How do you know you’re loved?
Better yet… how do you want to be loved?

Most of us would say:
– feeling seen
– respected
– supported
– safe to be ourselves
– encouraged to grow

Now the real question:
👉 Are you giving that to yourself?

Because self-love is the foundation.
And it’s not about perfection.

It’s about learning to prioritize your well-being, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
It’s a process, and it’s not always easy.
But if you’re willing to live better and love better (and I really hope you are), that’s where the magic is.

Strong roots don’t create a flashy “I’ve got it all together” trophy.
They create something better:
balance, peace, joy, resilience, and a life that actually feels good, without chasing approval or validation.

When the roots are strong:
• workouts feel empowering, not punishing
• food becomes nourishment, not guilt
• your mind is steadier
• your emotions are more grounded

So this month, (and honestly, always),
nourish the roots.
Self love first.
Everything else will grow and flourish from this place 🌱

Action step: Do one small thing today that water the roots, move your body, fuel it well, rest, or speak to yourself with kindness.

⏰ Last week of January check-in:
How we doing… still in it, or already thinking you need to try the new flashy workout trend/Movie star diet miracle.😏

“I’ve tried everything… and nothing works for me.”

Everything?
Really? 🤨

Because usually what that means is:
➡️ Everything except sticking to one thing long enough to let it work.

We bounce from program to program, workout to workout, diet to diet, because we’re bored, impatient, or hoping the next thing will finally be the magic fix. Spoiler alert: that is the problem.

The basics aren’t broken. They’re just not exciting.
✅ Squats. Presses. Pulls. Repeats.
Master the basics first. (The colorful balls and fancy fitness toys can wait.)

✅ High-quality protein. High-fiber whole foods. Healthy fats.
If these type of things “bore” you… you’re not hungry yet. Come back later. 😉
And if you don’t have fat to lose? Cool…play with your 20%.

Great results come from doing simple things consistently, not from constantly doing new things.

So no… you haven’t tried everything.
You’ve tried everything except consistency.

But here’s the good news, especially in this last week of January 👇
You’re not behind.
You just need to stay.
Stay with the basics.
Stay consistent.
Stay long enough to see them work.

January is just setting the tone.
Finish strong, keep it simple, and let consistency do its thing! 💪

So… how are those New Year’s resolutions going?
Still going strong? Or did they quietly ghost you by mid-January? 😅

There’s something about a new year that makes us feel unstoppable. Clean slate. Big goals. Big promises.
Then real life hits… and as we all know, especially with health goals, New Year’s resolutions tend to fizzle out fast.

Not because you’re lazy.
Because you tried to change everything instead of mastering something.

If you want that fresh start to actually stick, here’s the move:
MASTER YOUR NON- NEGOTIABLES.

This is not the whole list.
This is the starting fundamental points to master then add…

✅ Strength train twice a week.
✅ Drink your water.
✅ Move your body daily.
✅ Eat real, whole foods with high-quality, lean protein + fiber.
✅ Prioritize sleep and real recovery.

Not all at once.
One at a time.

Start small. Master it. Stack the next one.
Stop chasing motivation and start building standards.

So tell me…
