As the newly elected Dix Hills Fire District Fire Commissioner, I want to thank everyone who supported my candidacy. I appreciate your confidence in me.

The focus of my term will be on doing the best job possible for both the residents of Dix Hills and the department’s members. I hope to make you proud of my efforts in the office and all that I do for the community.

WHY I'M RUNNING FOR A COMMISSIONER POSITION WITH THE DIX HILLS FIRE DISTRICT:

Our community has one of the premier fire departments on Long Island. My love for the organization motivates me to serve the community; to safeguard, support, and provide for its future. As a 20-year volunteer member, I've been an active firefighter, officer, and rescue driver. But that hasn't been enough for me. I wanted to give more. As such, I serve as a Trustee, ensuring that the department's finances are managed in the best way possible.

And now it's time to give of myself even more. I'm the owner /operator of one of the largest furniture manufacturers on Long Island, and I have a great deal of experience in operating successful businesses in New York, North Carolina, and Florida. I have significant budgetary and financial expertise and have managed an operating budget for over 30 years. I know that my business experience, coupled with my fire department background, makes me well suited for a commissioner position.

I seek your support for my efforts to become a Fire Commissioner and ask you to vote this coming Tuesday, December 14, 2021. The public vote will be at Dix Hills Fire Department headquarters:

I am seeking your support as I announce that I will be running for the position of Fire Commissioner of the Dix Hills Fire District. I am seeking your support to come out and vote on December 14, 2021 for this community elected position. As a 20 year volunteer firefighter and resident of Dix Hills, I am fully familiar with the daily fire and ems operations for our district of 26,000 plus residents. I have been fighting fires and transporting sick and injured residents for twenty years while raising my family and running a successful business.

With all of my knowledge and familiarity of this fire district, and my business experiences, I stand ready and able to tackle the complicated issues that affect us all. I strive to provide you the finest of emergency services while ensuring that your tax dollars never go to waste.
