I have always been passionate about educating others. When I realized what information there was out "there" surrounding pregnancy and birth, I knew I wanted to spread my knowledge. I truly believe that the key to having a fulfilling birth is knowledge. How cool will it be to call the shots of your own birth?! Within reason, this is 100% obtainable!

My goal is to help all mothers feel empowered to call the shots. That's why I started Bud to Bloom - to inform and empower!

I also want to make sure everyone has access to a birth doula. That is why I am switching to 100% VIRTUAL.

Doulas are great birth supports that provides a consistency during your pregnancy and birth.... which is kind of a huge deal

When I was pregnant, I was in a new state and didn't have "my tribe" let alone an OB. My doula was the one person (after my hubby) that kept in touch throughout my pregnancy and birth. She was there when I wanted a second opinion or needed reassurance. She completely changed my pregnancy and birth experience and I am so so so thankful for her.

I'm hoping to provide that same support to an expecting parent. Welcoming a little one into the world is stressful and sometimes scary, let me help put toyour mind at ease.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You just found out you're pregnant and you are overjoyed, excited, maybe overwhelmed and slightly scared sh*tless. You start to look at pinterest and social media for cute baby announcements and baby clothes.... that spirals and you stumble upon a birth doula....

You might be asking yourself, ⁉️ "What is a doula and why would I need one?" ⁉️

A doula provides emotional, physical and informational support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

What that means in layman's terms is that I am here to help you through your journey as much as possible. This could be texting me asking if it's normal to have night sweats or pain in your left third toe. This support may look like practicing laboring positions, knowing when to use them, and how your partner can help support you. It could also look like gaining information about different tests like the glucose test, or what a cervical check is or even what an induction looks like and if you need to be induced.

My personal passion is the informational piece. I put pride in educating others so that they are empowered and confident about birth. Welcome everyone! My name is Cindy and I am the owner of Bud to Bloom Doula LLC!

I am a certified doula with the passion to educate. 👩‍🏫 There is SO much to know and learn about all things birth and pregnancy. 🤰So much so, it can be very overwhelming as an expecting parent, whether it's your first or eighth child! I'm here to make the birthing experience a positive one. I accomplish this by walking through each step, making you aware of all your options, and showing you different laboring positions. Knowing this will empower you to make the most informed decisions that are best for you 👩🏾‍🍼

I strive to be an inclusive, respectful provider. Birth is Birth whether its a badass natural home Birth, a badass planned cesarean, or a badass medicated hospital Birth. It's all badass!
