After many years of waiting, finally Virtual Reality Therapy is now affordable to the private practitioner. I am happy to announce that I can now offer this service to my patients. Virtual Reality Therapy is a method of helping patients confronts their anxieties in a safe environment. It has been proven to be faster, less expensive and to be about 90 percent effective in reducing anxiety reactions

. With the use of a head mounted display and specialized computer software, patients are exposed to a computer generated recreation of the specific stimuli related to their phobia. With the support of the therapist they can work through their anxieties and eventually conquer their fears.
