Dixon Mayor Steve Bird proudly presented Clara with the Apraxia Awareness Day Proclamation on behalf of the City of Dixon.
Apraxia is a neurological disorder that makes it difficult to plan and execute movements—especially those needed for speech. Raising awareness is key to supporting individuals and families affected by this condition.
We at Speech Therapy Consulting were honored to stand beside Clara and her family for this meaningful moment. Thank you to the City of Dixon for recognizing the importance of Apraxia Awareness and for helping amplify the voices of those who work so hard to find theirs.
