WildCat Rub Thanksgiving Hints - continued

7. Bring a small gift for the host/hostess! Something they'll appreciate, and that they don't need to stop everything to "'take care of". In other words, no live creatures, flowers without a vase, etc etc. Gift suggestion? WildCat Rub or Papa Bear Balms! It's hard work hosting T-Day, so give them something to help with the recovery!! 🧡🐾🧡 & 🐻

8. Find out where trash, recycle, and dirty dishes are supposed to go and be helpful when it's time to wind down and clean up.

9. Have a list of SAFE TOPICS to speak about with other guests. Do not under any circumstances bring up politics, religion, women's rights, LGBTQ, pedofilia, ICE, or personal information that ought not to be mentioned. Just smile and nod, keep your mouth full, and don't be drawn into drama.

4 - children are delightful, and parents/guardians/handlers are responsible for their little Darlin's breakage, vandalism, and shaving of the cat. Be vigilant. Little people are sneaky.

5 - do not judge if paper plates are involved. Be grateful you got a plate. 😳

6 - the night before, set your table. Or just clear it off into boxes. If you have children/staff/or a dear friend helping you, delegate stuff that doesn't require your 100% attention to detail. That way you can look prepared, even if you are not 🤔

Count Down to Thanksgiving 2025.
🦃 WildCat Rub T-Day RULES 🦃

1 - do not arrive at your gathering early unless the host/hostess has been made aware and has given permission. You never know what last minute obstacles or clean up may be happening.

2 - if you are not in charge or assigned to help in the kitchen - STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN. Let them do their thing - no one needs to kvetch.

3 - FOOTBALL is part of Thanksgiving. Be aware of language and surroundings, noise levels, little kids and small pets. Be respectful and gracious to guests with opposing team loyalty. After all, your team cannot win unless the opponent graciously loses.
