We loved every second: the milestones we reached, the communities we showed up for, the moments of growth, and the people who made it all meaningful. A week later and we’re still dreaming about turkey...and trotting.

Our Spear teams were out in Westchester, Garden City, Stuy Town, and Hoboken on Thanksgiving morning, cheering runners on and sharing recovery tips to keep everyone moving strong right up until it was time to carve the turkey and load up their plates.

Nothing beats starting the holiday with this kind of energy and community. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, stretched with us, said hello, or raced past with a smile. We’ll see you at next year's Turkey Trot starting lines! 🦃🍂

We officially cut the ribbon at Spear Clinton Hill – Fulton St, a milestone shaped by the people who helped this clinic grow from its very first day. Clinical Director Dylan Pearce, PT, DPT, CSCS, shared how meaningful this moment was:

“Opening this location has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. We started with just one therapist working 13-hour shifts, and in under nine months, we’ve grown into a team of 13. That growth happened because of the people standing next to me.
My colleague Derek Lee, PT, DPT, has been a mentor I couldn’t have reached this point without. My wife, Karen, helped build this clinic piece by piece (literally), from assembling furniture to accompanying me on marketing runs around the neighborhood before we opened. And Alliah Cameron, our Lead Care Coordinator, has been here since day one, shaping the culture of this space and making it feel like home for every person who walks through the door.
We ended the night at a painting class, which felt fitting since this clinic has truly been a team creation. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and grateful to serve the Clinton Hill community.”

We officially cut the ribbon at our new Bayside - 41st Ave location, and the celebration showcased the heart and pride that define this neighborhood.

Clinical Director Vivek Sukumaran, PT, DPT, TPI Level 2, shared heartfelt remarks about his parents’ immigrant journey to New York and even brought together three generations of his family to witness this milestone. He spoke about the deep sense of belonging he’s found in Bayside, a place where people welcome others with open arms and show up for one another. That spirit is exactly why Spear feels so connected to this community. Bayside is a place where generations lift each other up, where families create roots and memories — and we’re truly honored to be woven into that story.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to mark the occasion, including Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, Congresswoman Grace Meng, and the office of Congressman Thomas Suozzi. A huge thank you to the Queens Chamber of Commerce, Bayside Business Association, Bayside Little League, and members of the Small Business Bureau for attending and for your unwavering support. There’s nothing quite like marathon weekend in New York City.

From the moment the expo doors opened to the final finisher crossing the line, the energy was electric, and we were honored to be part of it.

At the TCS NYC Marathon Expo, our team kept runners race-ready with hands-on treatment, recovery tips, and gear to help them stay strong through 26.2 miles and beyond.

On race day, we welcomed finishers just blocks from Central Park at our brand-new Spear Sports Club for a post-race cooldown filled with stretching, hydration, snacks, and well-deserved recovery time.

To every runner who trained, showed up, and powered through one of the greatest races in the world: congratulations. Your grit, passion, and perseverance embody the spirit of this city...and inspire everything we do.
