We are excited to welcome Dr. Phillip Brintle to Dobson Dental!

Dr. Brintle’s journey in dentistry began with his service in the United States Air Force as a dental technician, where he discovered his passion for the field. After earning his dental degree from UNC School of Dentistry, he rejoined the USAF as a dental officer, serving until his military retirement in 2001. Over the years, Dr. Brintle has brought his expertise and dedication to practices in Winston-Salem and his beloved hometown of Mount Airy, N.C.

Although he briefly stepped away from dentistry for knee surgeries, his love for patient care never faded. Now, with restored mobility and renewed enthusiasm, he is thrilled to continue serving patients at Dobson Dental.

Please join us in giving Dr. Brintle a warm welcome! We are honored to have him on our team and look forward to the exceptional care he will provide.

We Are Dobson Dental

Hello! We are a local family dentistry located in Dobson, NC offering a plethora of dental services. From cleanings and extractions to cosmetic surgery and Invisalign, any dental need you have is one we will work to meet.

We previously were under the name of Michael R. Tumbarello, DMD but have transitioned to Dobson Dental with Dr. Kristopher Boyd as the dentist.

Dr. Kristopher Boyd is a native of Reidsville, North Carolina. He attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. He then earned his D.D.S. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Honors. His senior year in dental school, Dr. Boyd was awarded the Monte Miska award for academic and clinical excellence in the field of Prosthodontics, the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. Dr. Boyd's ultimate goal is to develop and maintain a team of caring professionals who listen to patient’s concerns, educate patients on their oral health, and aid in developing the most ideal treatment plan for each patient.
