Today, The Center Clinic (TCC) was proud to be part of the Student Health Fair in Pine Island — and what an amazing event it was!
We connected with tons of kids who came ready with thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity about their health and wellness. It was inspiring to see so many young people engaged and eager to learn.
Our sample Nexplanon implant and IUD models were a big hit! Being able to see and learn about these options up close sparked great conversations about reproductive health, prevention, and making informed choices.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and made the day so special. We love being part of events that empower students with knowledge and confidence about their health! 💙

The Digital Literacy Program was in full swing, empowering participants with essential technology skills to stay connected, access resources, and build confidence in today’s digital world. We express our deepest gratitude to Community outreach engagement and health equity from Mayo Clinic for their partnership with TCC.

To make the day even more enjoyable, we concluded the event with a delightful and engaging Valentine’s Day cookie decorating activity! 🍪💕 Participants thoroughly enjoyed expressing their creativity and celebrating the spirit of community together.

Our incredible volunteers, including Family medicine residents and medical school students, came together to support our Food Drive. Their generosity and dedication ensured that families in our community have access to fresh, nutritious food. Your contributions truly make a difference.

Clinic Night at TCC.
All the volunteers were incredibly dedicated. Some diligently advocated for the patients, while others diligently cleaned the storage room, removed dust, swept the floor, and organized the donations. You are truly the best.

Despite the inclement weather, our community came together to celebrate our Christmas posada with joy and gratitude. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this beautiful event possible. A heartfelt thank you to the Salvation Army for their support in distributing meals boxes to many families in our community .

Helath talk interview

This week, The Center Clinic had the opportunity to spotlight in Owatonna Live an important conversation during our latest Health Talk Interview. Our very own clinic nurse Emily 'Anker' Heimer sat down to discuss Sexual Health Awareness Month, sharing valuable insights on prevention, education, and empowering our community to take charge of their sexual well-being.

She highlighted the importance of:
-Regular check-ups and screenings
-Honest conversations with partners and providers
-Access to accurate information
-Reducing stigma around sexual health topics
