Lately, I've been getting a lot of intuitive insights suggesting that things are rapidly "falling apart" or "breaking". This message keeps repeating itself. I'm observing this trend in my own life, as well as in the experiences of many of my clients and within the community as a whole.

Hey there, I'm Kelsey! I am an energy healing practitioner, essential oil educator, Akashic reader, and diviner who is committed to teaching and empowering others to be their best, whole self.

After Sun Spray

Numerous medical studies have found that topical Aloe Vera healed first and second degree burns faster than most traditional medications. It was also shown to prevent redness, itching, and infections. Therefore, it should be no surprise that Aloe is often used as a key ingredient in soothing sunburns and other minor burns.

In this recipe, I combined Aloe Vera Gel with skin-soothing oils, such as coconut oil and lavender oil. I also included peppermint essential oil for its skin cooling properties. Next, I topped it off with witch hazel and Vitamin E to help preserve the spray, so it lasts longer than 7 days.

Ingredients
-1/2 cup Aloe Vera gel
-1/4 cup witch hazel
-1/4 cup fractionated coconut oil
-1 teaspoon Vitamin E
-10 drops lavender essential oil
-10 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions
-Combine all ingredients together in a glass spray bottle.
-Shake well before each use. Spray liberally onto sun-kissed skin and let it air dry before applying clothing.
-Repeat every 2-3 hours or as needed.

Tip: You can also freeze this recipe into small ice cubes. Then, gently massage a cube over inflamed skin to instantly soothe and cool.

What is your offering?

We all come into the world with a unique set of skills, gifts, talents, abilities. Malidoma would call this our "personal medicine". It is that special gift that only you possess.

You were created to share this gift to the world. To offer it to humanity and to others. I believe he called these gifts "medicine" because he said that when we were truly offering our medicine to the world it would be able to heal people - to help them in some way.

It breaks my heart to think of what my life would be like if I hadn't figured out what my offering to humanity was. And, it breaks my heart even more to know that so many people are wondering around without truly knowing or understanding the medicine that they are capable of delivering to the world. In fact, so many people are weighed down by their own inhibitions that they don't realize they even carry medicine.

May we all remember why we are truly here and what we're being called to do in this lifetime!

I don't see my difficult moments anymore as something bad. I try to honor those darker moments when they come in, because usually that means there's something in my life that I'm not seeing, or a part of me that I'm neglecting.

When I feel the shadow coming in, I see it as an opportunity for me to pause. I see it as an invitation to go deeper into myself and see why it is I'm neglecting myself, or how I can better take care of myself.
