Thank you to everyone who supported me through this chapter. A special shout out to those of you who would share their lives with me. Many, many great discussions were had in that massage room. During those hours, I was able to sharpen my other therapist "muscles" 🧠💪. I began to realize that my heart, my drive, what I loved to do was shifting. I no longer was passionate about helping just the physical body when the mind is so much more complex and all-encompassing. That challenge has a much stronger pull for me, because I understand how important mental health is in order to achieve a good quality of life. When I become a professional mental health advocate of some kind, this period of my life with you all will be the foundation. So Thank You to those of you who were willing to be emotionally vulnerable on the table with me, I will be sending you all a bill 😜

I've been struggling to find the right words for this bittersweet announcement... I think instead of getting carried away writing a really long heartfelt post, I'll just try to keep it simple.

-I am "retiring" from massage therapy.
-Friday, April 25th will be my last working day.
-If you have a gift card to me, please be sure to use it before then!

I want to thank each and every one of you for letting me be your therapist at any point over these last 10 years. Friendships have been made, countless muscles have been worked on, and I was able to make a living doing what I loved. So thank you all again from the bottom of my heart 🫶🥰

🚧 It has begun! 🚧

Starting Monday, November 11th, one block of 2nd Avenue between Front Street and Gunsmoke will be closed for construction.
Unfortunately for us, this is right in front of the Studio. There is still sidewalk access, but street parking and driving isn't accessible.

Building Solutions, LLC understands this will be an inconvenience. If there are any questions or concerns, contact them at 620-225-1199.

Downtown Dodge will look great and function well when all is completed, we just have to practice patience 😊

I'm on my honeymoon out of the country!
I got a SIM card to have service, but I didn't realize it would prevent any of the calls and texts to my original cell number to not be delivered.
I'm sorry if you've reached out and are waiting on a response. I'm not ignoring you! Once I'm back on US soil, I'll get the points of contact and respond.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Effective June 1st, 2024, there will be an increase in the price of massage therapy appointments (as listed below).
In my 8.5-year career, this is only the second rate change I have done, as the last one was 3 years ago. My hope is that the economy lets me go another few years without feeling the need to increase prices again.

Along with the rate change, I am also reinforcing my cancellation policy. I have been pretty lax with it in the past, but moving forward, I ask that you please be respectful of my livelihood. I absolutely want to work with you in rescheduling/switching appointments, but if this non-emergency movement occurs within less than 24 hours of your massage and I am unable to fill that appointment, you will be asked to pay the cancellation fee (1/2 the price of the scheduled massage).

I love what I do and I wouldn’t be able to do it if it weren’t for you amazing clients. Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of my small business!

Be at peace with your mind and body and just *relax* unapologetically already

At the end of life no one says “I’m so glad I kept going and going” or “I’m so glad I worked so much that I never spent afternoons in the sun imagining and dreaming.” We’re conditioned to go and go because quite honestly— it’s addictive. And it helps us escape ourselves. The joy is in learning how to be instead of constantly doing
