What fun to have Pat and Bridget from The Dodgeville Federated Women's Club come and put on an art class recently! Not only did they bring supplies for a beautiful sunflower craft, they also brought along a couple of puppy pals! Thank you to them for sharing their time and talents with us! Pat and Louise worked together and they thoroughly enjoyed visiting with each other.

A huge thank you to Officer Pepper and therapy dog Charlie from the Dodgeville Police Department for coming to visit earlier in July. Charlie spends his time at the police station, at the local schools, or out and about in the community brightening the day of everyone he meets. How wonderful to have a service dog that provides therapeutic relief for officers, students and school staff, and the community. Folks sure enjoyed their visit and look forward to seeing them again.

We were graciously entertained by Linda Seeley on the piano and Erik Larson on Friday! Erik is a seminary student at Barneveld UCC and is a fantastic vocalist - we look forward to having Erik accompany Linda more in the future as well as grow in his pastoral studies!

Last Tuesday folks checked out the senior programming at Merrimac & Main in Dodgeville. They had a great time doing chair yoga and then participated in a painting class! Everyone is looking forward to going back again and hopes to see other seniors there from the community!

Local talent, an antique car show, and ice cream from Cathryn's Market was enjoyed on Saturday while listening to local musicians at Dodgeville Area Chamber of Commerce's Dodgefest! A very special thanks to Mallory Allen for putting on such a fantastic singing performance!

Yesterday some of the ladies went to the Dodgeville Area Chamber of Commerce Town Square 2025 event for food, music and socializing. Everyone enjoyed delicious food from Grace Lutheran Church & Preschool and great music from The German Band. Pie and ice cream was the perfect ending to a fantastic day out in the community.

The Iowa County Humane Society came to visit with six sweet kittens the other day! Their soft, cute, cuddly, and playful nature brought smiles to everyone's faces. We are hopeful they will find their forever home and get adopted into a loving family soon!

Our very own McKenna, who is an RA here at CrestRidge, was awarded "Fairest of the Fair" and was featured in the Mineral Point 4th of July Parade and Dodgeville's Farmer's Appreciation Parade! This role helps to promote the Iowa County Fair and enhances one's public speaking, interviewing skills, and interactions within the community. She's done such a great job!
