Last week, we welcomed students from Dodgeville School District for a Career Exploration Day at Upland Hills Health!

Students rotated through interactive stations, experienced a live Emergency Department scenario with Dodgeville EMS, and toured Lab, Therapy, and Pharmacy.

We’re grateful to our dedicated staff and EMS partners who helped create such a hands-on learning experience and gave students a glimpse into the many careers in healthcare.

Dr. Ankura Kadakia brings a clinical focus area in children’s behavioral and brain health, pediatric dermatology—including acne and complex care for patients with diverse medical needs.

Family Practice Clinics will close at noon on Wednesday, May 27, for staff education and training.

Clinic services will resume normal business hours on Thursday, May 28.

If you need care while the clinics are closed, Mount Horeb Urgent Care and the Upland Hills Health Urgent Care in Dodgeville will be open and available during normal operating hours for your urgent medical needs.

Students got a firsthand look at future career opportunities during this year’s Businesses in Our Backyard Tours! 👏

Thanks to the partnership between the Mount Horeb Area School District and local businesses, eighth-grade students explored real-world careers, learned about skilled trades and career pathways, and connected classroom learning to the workforce.
