Hey lawn lovers! 👋 Spring is officially here, and that means it's time to get our green spaces looking their best. Here are a few quick tips to get you started:
🌱 Sharpen those mower blades! A clean cut is crucial for healthy grass and helps prevent disease.
☀️ Wait for it... Don't be tempted to mow too short too early. Letting your grass grow a little taller helps it establish strong roots and shade out w**ds. Aim for that sweet spot of around 3 inches for most common grasses.
💧 Water deeply and less often. This encourages deep root growth, making your lawn more drought-tolerant. Shallow, frequent watering can lead to weak roots and surface w**ds.
🌿 Keep an eye out for early w**ds. Now's a great time to tackle any pesky invaders before they really take hold. Hand-pulling small patches or using a targeted w**d control product can make a big difference.
