So Happy Birthday to me! For my 45th birthday, I decided to take myself to the ancestral Canary Islands... A remote island paradise between Africa and Spain
For 6 fabulous days, I relaxed and ate and discovered and adventured! I climbed the Teide volcano and roadtripped across a foreign land. I made friends and memories, but most importantly, I got closer to my sense of trust; knowing fully that both me and God have me a hundred percent.
I'm grateful, I'm humbled, I'm blessed.

I helped my client externalize her anxiety yesterday. We gave it a name, and we gave it a face. Once it's outside of you and independent of you, you can choose how you relate to it. We forget that anxiety is often there to protect us from uncomfortable feelings, in turn, creating an unreliable internal world.
Honor the monster and watch it lose a little bit of its grip.

What's in your heart? What's your 'Why?'❤️
Today, I got to guide the beautiful guests at the Pritikin longevity center through a tour of their hearts using the art of paint and reflection.

Why get healthy? For whom? To discover what? To still learn what? To visit where? To love whom?

When we can answer these questions with conviction, we add the fuel that our goals need to go! So I encourage you to pull your heart out every now and then. Give it a voice. Give it some color. Remember, reclaim and rediscover the people, the places, and the passion that drive you. You'll discover that the goal is easy when the 'why' is personal ❤️
