Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense Family of the Day 💪👊
Meet the Fighting Peternela Family!

Father Marcos Peternela is a true example of leading by example. The Peternelas can proudly say, “My dad can kick your dad’s ass!” 😎

Marcos is a black belt instructor in Kickboxing and Krav Maga, teaching our 6 AM Kickboxing classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. He’s also a fi****ms instructor at Anta’s, NRA certified and Israeli Tactical Shooting certified.

His son Enzo is also a black belt instructor in Kickboxing and Krav Maga, leading our Kids Fighting Class every Saturday.
Luigi, the youngest warrior, just earned his yellow belt! 🥋

Our Story

This is Anta's Fitness and Self Defense page for fitness, health and nutrition information. Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense has been changing lives in Doral since 1998, with classes in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Fitness Bootcamp, Krav Maga for teen and adults. There are also kids mixed martial arts/fitness classes. Head instructor Julio Anta also does private martial arts classes and personal training.

Anta is a martial arts, fitness instructor and competitive bodybuilder. Julio Anta is the 2017 South Florida Bodybuilding Champion over 60. He leads by example and is a student for life.
