Tired of the clock changes throwing off the kids' routine? Here are 3 simple, expert-approved tips to ease the transition this week, focused on consistency and sleep hygiene.

1. The 15-Minute Rule: Gradual Shift, Not Sudden Shock
The Tip: Starting 3-4 days before the time change, shift your child’s entire schedule back by 15 minutes each night. This includes dinner, bath time, and bedtime.

2. Maximize the Morning Light (OT/PT Tip)
The Tip: As soon as your child wakes up (at the new time), open the curtains and blinds wide, or step outside for 10 minutes of natural light exposure.

3. The "Screen-Off-Zone" for Calm (SLP/ABA Tip)
The Tip: Establish a Screen-Off-Zone (phones, tablets, TV, video games) at least 60 minutes before the start of the bedtime routine. Replace it with a quiet, sensory-calming activity.
