Story Time is back at DotHouse!

We’re excited to continue to collaborate with the Boston Public Library - Fields Corner Branch!

Fields Corner Branch of the Boston Public Library is bringing Story Time drop-in sessions to DotHouse Health on Tuesdays throughout April and May (except on April 21 or May 12).

Details:
- Tuesdays through April & May
- 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Old PT Space at DotHouse Health

Join us for a fun and engaging morning filled with storytelling, songs, and interactive activities.

We’re thrilled to welcome Public Librarian Josh for this special Story Time series!

This partnership with BPL helps us bring literacy, joy, and connection directly to our families and community members.

We are updating our hours of operation!

DotHouse Health will be closing at 8:00pm from Monday to Thursday starting today, Monday, March 30th (this includes Primary Care, Urgent Care, & Pharmacy).

Additionally, the DotHouse Pharmacy will be closing at 2:00pm on Saturdays (this is new)!

ANNOUNCEMENT: The DotHouse Health patient parking lot (to the right of the building) will be inaccessible this Saturday, March 21st due to new equipment installation.

NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED. Please help us share this message!

This work requires the use of a crane and additional heavy machinery, so the area must remain closed for safety.

During this time:
- All patients must enter the facility through the front door only.

- Patients can park in the DotHouse Linden Street parking lot for the day (look for DotHouse Parking sign).

We are extremely excited to celebrate and honor 2026 Tết and Lunar New Year!

Tết is considered the first day of spring and most important of national holidays in Vietnam.

Tết is the annual Vietnamese New Year celebration, coinciding with the Lunar New Year celebrated throughout the world in January and February.

As the start of spring, this is the time in which one can leave the past behind and start focusing on the future. 2026 is the year of the Horse.

The Lunar New Year begins today, Tuesday, February 17th. We hope you get a chance to celebrate!

Tax season has arrived! Come get your taxes filled at DotHouse! We are proud to announce the return of our DotHouse Tax Clinic through City of Boston & Boston Tax Help Coalition.

The Tax Clinic will be located in the Multi-Purpose Room. The Tax Clinic hours are below:
- Wednesday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Thursday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am - 12:00pm

The Tax Clinic will not be doing appointments and it'll be first come first serve. As patients come, they will sign in and the tax preparers will follow the list. Additionally, make sure to ask about our Credit Counseling Services.

You do not need to be a DotHouse patient or member of the community to have your taxes filed at DotHouse. Our tax clinic is part of a wider partnership with the Mayor's Tax Help Coalition for the City of Boston that we have been operating for over 20 years.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, we join communities across the nation in honoring the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. MLK Day is more than a federal holiday—it is a National Day of Service and reflection that invites us to actively work toward the “Beloved Community” Dr. King envisioned. �

This day calls on each of us to pause, learn, and engage. Across Boston and surrounding communities, individuals and organizations will gather to serve, reflect, and deepen their understanding of Dr. King’s vision for justice, equity, and collective responsibility.

Dr. King’s values strongly align with DotHouse’s mission and ongoing commitment to justice, health equity, and meaningful dialogue. As a community health center, we see every day how fairness, dignity, and access to care are essential to building healthier communities. Our current and active Community, Culture, & Belonging (CCB) Committee aims to help acknowledge and discuss these issues. Look out for upcoming CCB updates!

Dr. King was a leader of profound faith, compassion, and courage. He challenged us to recognize that progress requires intention and action, reminding us that “the time is always right to do what is right.” His call to uphold human dignity and equality remains as urgent today as ever.

At DotHouse, we remain steadfast in representing and advocating for those impacted by inequities in our health care system and society. Our commitment to continuous learning, reflection, and improvement is central to who we are—and to the care we provide.

The 2026 Dottapan Doulas Fellowship is actively looking for candidates! Join us at 5:30pm this Friday, January 16th, 2026, for a Q&A session to learn more about this opportunity.

DotHouse Health, Codman Square Health Center, and Mattapan Community Health Center, in partnership
with Doulas of the Diaspora , are offering a 30-week Doula Fellowship Program with $7500 stipend.
We are seeking a diverse group of ten doula fellows from our communities to form our second cohort! No prior experience required.

This fellowship may be a great fit for you if any of the following apply:

- Are you passionate about health equity and comprehensive reproductive care access?
- Have you always been interested in birth work but don't know how to get involved?
- Would you like to be part of a movement to improve the perinatal experience & maternal outcomes in Dorchester and Mattapan?
- Do you have strong connection to Dorchester and/or Mattapan communities?
