Today, we stand with Southeast Health Cardiovascular Institute as they mourn the loss of their beloved nurse practitioner, Marla Hodge. Her unexpected passing has deeply impacted our healthcare community.

Job Details include: learning pulmonary function testing, learning home sleep testing, learning how to manage Clinic, and managing a group of clinical staff.

Requirements:
* Current Nurse Practitioner license in Al
* Experience in pulmonary medicine, critical care a plus
* Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Important Insurance Update for Our Patients

Beginning May 1, UnitedHealthcare will begin enforcing a policy change that may affect how your visit is covered at our office.

While this policy was introduced October 2025, the grace period ends May 1, 2026, meaning claims may now be denied if required referrals are not on file.

Because our clinic is classified as a specialty provider, some UnitedHealthcare plans (especially Medicare Advantage HMO/POS plans) may now require a referral from your primary care provider (P*P) for your visit to be covered.

➡️ What this means for you:
• If a referral is required and not on file, your visit may not be covered by insurance
• Requirements vary depending on your specific plan

➡️ What you can do:
• Contact your P*P to obtain a referral before your visit (if required)
• Call your insurance company to verify your benefits

We remain committed to providing convenient, high-quality care and will continue working closely with our patients to navigate these changes.

We want to wish our Administrator, Jennifer Bostic, a Happy 50th Birthday! Looking good!Today we were able to celebrate her and what she means to us. Her husband was able to come and celebrate her with us. This was her day! What a blessing!

Today we enjoyed the day hiding and gathering eggs throughout the office filled with candy. Several of our very lucky employees took home 1 of 8 gift card giveaways throughout the day. Such a wonderful way to start our Easter weekend. Have a very Happy Easter.

**Update: 4/16/26 The team is still working on the login issues. As a temporary workaround, some users may be able to log in successfully by clearing their browser cache and cookies or by using incognito/private browsing windows. Development is actively working on this issue to fix this.***

Our patient portal,My Health Record, is currently having issues where Users attempting to login are redirected to the login screen after entering their username and password preventing successful log in. Their team is actively working on restoring normal log in functionality as quickly as possible. If you need to reach your provider during this time please call the office at 334-305-0400. Thank you for your patience as they get this fixed.
