is a triple board certified physician specializing in nonoperative and minimally invasive procedures utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopy. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Interventional Orthopedic Foundation, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Lash graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology/ Pre-Med and he earned his Medical Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas as well as his fellowship in Sports Medicine. While at John Peter Smith Hospital, he served as Associate Team Physician for TCU Horned Frogs. He also served as Team Physician for many high school and collegiate athletics, as well as for USA boxing, professional cycling, US track and field, and rodeo events. He also serves as an advisor to the Sports Authority of Thailand, as well as to the Thailand National Rowing Team. Dr. Lash previously worked at Southern Bone and Joint Specialists for the past nine years where he served the people and athletes of the wiregrass and tri-state area. He decided to embark on a journey of opening his own practice, Lash OrthoSpine and Sports, where he can bring various new cutting edge minimally invasive procedures and regenerative medicine techniques, including stem cells and PRP (platelet rich plasma) to the area he now calls home. His goal is to get patients back to activities they love without going through major surgery.
