Southeast Health Foundation

Southeast Health Foundation The Southeast Health Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) public, not-for-profit public charity, founded in May 2006.

As part of Southeast Health’s humanitarian role, annual operating expenses are underwritten by the Medical Center so that 100 percent of gifts received will benefit the healthcare service or community wellness initiative specified. In addition to individual and corporate gifts, the Foundation also conducts several special events annually. Net proceeds from these activities are directed as indicated in specific event literature. The Southeast Health Foundation is a nonprofit, public charity. As such, the Foundation operates within the rules and regulations established by the United States government, specifically abiding the laws that allow for the operation of public charities. The Foundation must provide proof that funds contributed are used for the purposes for which they were intended. In addition to filing documents with the Internal Revenue Service as required, donors and the public receive regular updates regarding the status of the projects and how their donations are being used.

It's all about investing in better patient outcomes! 🩺✨

The Southeast Health Foundation was honored to present a check to the Critical Care Unit at Southeast Health for the purchase of a Pharyngeal Neuromodulation System.

For patients in the CCU, this advanced technology is a gamechanger. It uses targeted stimulation to help restore swallowing function, which can lead to faster recovery times and a smoother transition off of ventilators.

✨Let's hear it for the real behind-the-scenes stars of THE Gala 2026 - In Our Best ERa presented by Robins & Morton, our incredible VOLUNTEERS!

These amazing team members from Southeast Health and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine give up more than 8 hours of their Saturday (and time with their families) to help the Foundation team pull off the magic of THE Gala. From greeting guests, running auction items, to jumping in wherever needed, they show up with the best attitudes and servant hearts.

Their willingness to show up, serve, and support the mission of Southeast Health is something we never take for granted. We truly could not do this event without them. We love our volunteers! 💙
