The 2026 YOU & I Employee Partner Campaign for the Southeast Health Foundation was a massive success, raising over $362,000 for programs and services that support patients and the community!

Look who learned to "Press the Chest!" Our amazing Child Development Center and Human Resources teams completed the Brightspeed Press the Chest CPR training! They are now officially equipped with life-saving skills! To celebrate their success in making Dothan and Houston County Heart Safe, Thumper himself hopped by to deliver their hard-earned completion t-shirts! ❤

Today marked the official groundbreaking for the Southeast Health Emergency Department expansion and new Patient Care Tower! This expansion is crucial for our growing community, ensuring Southeast Health can continue to provide world-class care when our neighbors need it most.

The Southeast Health Foundation Board of Trustees is honored to share that community champion and former Dothan Mayor, Mike Schmitz, will be leading the $10 million capital campaign as its chair! Mike, known for his deep commitment to Dothan, perfectly encapsulated the spirit of this project, stating that it is "for the community, supported by the community." This is more than just a building; it's about investing in the future well-being and safety of everyone in the Wiregrass.
