Southeast Health Foundation The Southeast Health Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) public, not-for-profit public charity, founded in May 2006.

As part of Southeast Health’s humanitarian role, annual operating expenses are underwritten by the Medical Center so that 100 percent of gifts received will benefit the healthcare service or community wellness initiative specified. In addition to individual and corporate gifts, the Foundation also conducts several special events annually. Net proceeds from these activities are directed as indicated in specific event literature. The Southeast Health Foundation is a nonprofit, public charity. As such, the Foundation operates within the rules and regulations established by the United States government, specifically abiding the laws that allow for the operation of public charities. The Foundation must provide proof that funds contributed are used for the purposes for which they were intended. In addition to filing documents with the Internal Revenue Service as required, donors and the public receive regular updates regarding the status of the projects and how their donations are being used.

The Southeast Health Foundation is proud to announce that C & B Produce has officially earned its HeartSafe Designation.

Through our partnership with Brightspeed, we are providing critical AED equipment and training to ensure Dothan and Houston County remain leaders in cardiovascular safety. This life-saving initiative aims to put essential tools in the hands of community members.

We are grateful to Brightspeed for their sponsorship and to C & B Produce for prioritizing the health and safety of their staff and customers.

This is our first Houston County HeartSafe Designation of 2026! The 9th Designation in Wicksburg, bringing the total Designations in Houston County to 18 making us ever closer to our goal of 35!
