Assent is and should always be integral to treatment. We should constantly observe for behaviors that indicate assent or assent-withdrawal. BOTH of these should be reinforced and respected.

Transitions of any kind can be difficult- season changes especially. When change is coming, preparation and introducing change slowly (small bursts or short durations initially) can be helpful.
