This bill:

-WILL keep independent community pharmacies OPEN. (350 Alabama pharmacies have closed since 2018 which averages 1 per week AND that rate has increased this year)

-WILL help insure your pharmacy is able to continue to accept your insurance plan.

-WILL NOT increase your copay and IS NOT a tax on patients. (Both of which are lies being spread by big money insurers with virtual monopolies and their middlemen PBM’s who the bill cracks down on)

Please ask your representatives to support this bill so your community pharmacy can continue to support you!

Senate Bill 252, the Community Pharmacy Relief Act was introduced today by Senator Billy Beasley. It is a bipartisan effort to maintain access to care for patients across the state. Expected to be in Senate Committee tomorrow at 1 p.m. Please contact your state senator and ask they support SB252 to keep pharmacy doors open. Tag legislators in any social media posts you make about this.
