Faculty, staff, and students packed the first-floor hallway today as pots simmered, spices sizzled, and our campus chili masters battled for the crown.

Coffee County Youth Leadership recently visited ACOM’s campus for an inside look at our Simulation Center, where our students train with real life scenarios and cutting-edge technology. We loved hosting these bright young leaders and giving them a glimpse into how future physicians develop their skills, confidence, and passion for patient care.

Thanks to the group for spending the day with us. We hope to see many of you back on campus in the years ahead!

Wiregrass Poster Day 2025 was a remarkable showcase of student scholarship and innovation at ACOM. Our students, along with resident doctors from Southeast Health, presented research they’ve been developing throughout the semester, highlighting their curiosity, dedication and commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

We are incredibly proud of every student who participated and shared their work. Your efforts continue to elevate the standard of research within our ACOM community.

ACOM wrapped up a fun and festive Spirit Week last week! Students, faculty, and staff showed their spirit all week with themed days, treats, and campus events hosted by Student Life and SGA.

A huge thank-you to the local food trucks and vendors who came and helped make the week even more special. We loved seeing our community come together and celebrate!
