Welcome to Summerfield Square, a student housing community at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM), where your commute to class is just a three-minute walk. Choose from studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with ample storage throughout the spacious floor plans. Each energy-efficient apartment features modern and convenient amenities, including a full-size kitchen and bathroom, private study areas, and a washer and dryer. Enjoy the many advantages of a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse complete with fitness and cardio facilities, an open kitchen, and private, collaborative spaces where you can study or socialize. Our Story

Our community features five buildings with 230 beds and a 3,000 sq. ft. community center that boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center. It offers an outdoor lap pool, open communal kitchen and two multi-functional flex space suitable for aerobics, study areas and meeting rooms. Summerfield Square gives students an opportunity to enjoy studio, one- or two-bedroom apartments, each one offering convenient amenities and energy-efficient features, such as direct access to ACOM’s intranet, washer and dryers, private study areas, outdoor green space, and all-inclusive rates so you don’t have to worry about paying multiple bills each month.
