Positivity helps a lot. Music, media , and conversation should be kept as positive and calming as pissible.

Have you noticed changes in your loved one with dementia—increased weepiness, agitation, or anxiety? These can sometimes be linked to the media they consume.

This is especially important to consider when so much content contains violence and distressing news.

Due to the below-freezing temperatures beginning on Sunday, the Christian Mission will be opening our emergency shelter.

Are you or someone you know in danger of being in the cold?

Cots, blankets, and a hot meal will be provided. Arrive or call by 8:30pm. Updates will be made to our page.

During daytime hours when the temperature is 32 or below, our dining room will be open with coffee, a warm meal, and tables to sit at. At night, we will provide lodging.
