The Village of Douglas is searching for persons to fill the Utility Superintendent
and Maintenance positions.
The utility superintendent is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the
water and sewer systems. Must be willing to attend the necessary classes and
seminars to become a certified system operator as required by the State of
Nebraska.
The maintenance person is responsible for the general upkeep and condition of
the village buildings, property (including streets) and equipment.
These are part-time positions or can be combined into a full time position for one
person.

The Lincoln Christian high school choir will be performing at the Douglas senior center's birthday dinner on Wednesday, December 8th around 12:15. Please come early to visit and have treats. We are open from 10-1:30 on Wednesday. If you would like to order a meal for the birthday dinner, please call the Douglas senior center at 402-799-2300, by 12:30 on Tuesday, December 7th.
