I can't wait to start up treatments again. Waiting until the Covid calms down. In the meantime, stay well, meditate, just a few minutes of self care a day can help a lot.

Since my website is down temporarily I decided to post some reviews I received over the years of practicing sound therapy. Here is one of my fav's:
I had heard about healing with tuning forks many years ago - but I only just recently saw that Barbara offered this service. I immediately signed up for a 90 minute session. But - I really had no idea what to expect. It was very interesting - but I couldn't feel any changes happening inside my body. When I left, I was a little disappointed. Literally - as I stood there talking to Barbara after my treatment was over, my hip was aching. So I left thinking - that was fun, but it didn't work for me. Barbara did say that some people don't feel any changes immediately - but that it could take a day or more. Well - she was absolutely right! The next morning, I woke up without an aching hip, and I'd been waking up with an aching hip for quite some time. It would generally loosen up during the day - but the early morning was always the worst. I was so excited to wake up with no pain.
How amazing! I am still not sure what tuning forks do to the human body - but I am feeling like a new woman. Thank you Barbara!

Sound therapies have long been popular as a way of relaxing and restoring one's health. Now about this particular music...

A study was conducted on participants who attempted to solve difficult puzzles as quickly as possible while connected to sensors. The puzzles induced a certain level of stress, and participants listened to different songs while researchers measured brain activity as well as physiological states that included heart rate, blood pressure, and rate of breathing.

In fact, listening to this song -- "Weightless" -- resulted in a striking 65 percent reduction in participants' overall anxiety, and a 35 percent reduction in their usual physiological resting rates.

The group that created "Weightless", Marconi Union, did so in collaboration with sound therapists. Its carefully arranged harmonies, rhythms, and bass lines help slow a listener's heart rate, reduce blood pressure and lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol. ENJOY this is a 10 hour loop
