Today we sent off longtime MHCC cafeteria employee Connie Middaugh, who is retiring (or as she says, graduating) after 37 years here at MHCC! We sent her off with an ice cream and cake social, plus a bonus check of $100 for every year she has worked here.

Connie assures us that she'll be back regularly to keep an eye on "her" salad bar to make sure it's up to her standards!

Join us in celebrating National Wear Red Day tomorrow by wearing some red!!

Tomorrow is National Women's Heart Day, more commonly known as National Wear Red Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about women's cardiovascular health. It encourages everyone to wear red to show support for medical research and education aimed at preventing heart disease and stroke. The initiative aims to educate women about the unique risks they face and the importance of regular screenings for blood pressure and cholesterol levels. We’re excited to welcome the first baby of 2026 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County!

Joshuea and Shannon Cobb welcomed their baby girl, Marion Wesley Cobb, on January 3rd at 10:53 am. She weighed 5 pounds, 7 oz and measured 19.5 inches long.

Congratulations to the Cobb family on their new bundle of joy. What a great way to start 2026!!
