Nancy in the newest addition to the Plumb Line family. She comes to us with a background in the corporate world. Her specialty is in project management and customer care. She is excited to leave the corporate world for a more community based setting, close to home.

Nancy expresses that she has always been a customer advocate and plans to carry that concern into Plumb Line as well. She is looking forward to getting to know and assist the patients and loves interacting with people.

Family and friends are a huge part of Nancy’s life. Her family boasts her husband (Bob), 3 grown children, a new granddaughter, and 2 Siberian huskies. You may see Nancy around Douglassville, as she tries to patronize locally and walk the neighborhood with her dogs. If you see her, introduce herself!

Plumb Line is seeking a full-time receptionist. Please spread the word to anyone you know who is looking for a job within the medical field and is proficient in office skills and great with people.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, so please pass this along.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to oversee the operations of our small but busy office. This includes scheduling appointments and accurately updating patient records, contacting doctor's offices and insurance companies, and proficiency in computer skills. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience in an office setting, as well as possessing strong attention to detail, customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and knowledge of medical insurance.

Responsibilities:

Keep patient records organized
Document payments and invoice in Quickbooks.
Organize and schedule appointments.
Manage patient information.
Communicate with staff and patients about changes in appointments and other matters.
Manage medical office records and handle billing and insurance issues.
Do general office work such as management, filing, emailing, etc.
Obtain authorization for patient visits through insurance.
Contact doctor's offices for referrals, prescriptions, and other documentation as needed.
Create and modify documents on Excel and Word.

Between demonstrating the use of physical therapy tools, talking about what the career has to offer, and testing everyone’s hand grip strength, we were the most visited table. Thanks to Sarah and Mary Clare for leading an awesome experience!
