At Sanctuary Counseling, we look at the local school districts to decide when to close our in-person locations and see clients virtually. Because of that, our locations are closed today (12/2/2025), but we will be holding all of our normal sessions virtually.

However, if you ever do not feel safe driving in the snowy weather and we are still open, please give us a call and move your session to Zoom!

Sanctuary Counseling now offers Reiki therapy at our Douglassville location! ✨

Reiki Therapy at Sanctuary Counseling offers a unique blend of somatic awareness, energy-based techniques, and therapeutic conversation. Unlike traditional Reiki experiences that are passive or offered in spa environments, our approach is rooted in clinical training and guided by licensed therapists.

Reiki is integrated into talk therapy sessions to support emotional insight, nervous system balance, and a deeper connection to the body. This work can be especially helpful for clients who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or emotionally stuck. Reiki Therapy offers a meaningful complement to traditional psychotherapy by helping clients process feelings, regulate their nervous system, and explore healing in a more embodied way.
