DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. โ€” A Douglas County man is facing multiple child exploitation charges after authorities say he uploaded sexually explicit material involving minors to a social media platform.

Maverick Austin Beaudreau was arrested and charged with 14 counts of sexual exploitation of children, a violation of Georgia Code 16-12-100(c).

A recent Media Release by The Douglas County Sheriffโ€™s Office (https://www.facebook.com/share/16BCKwiSp2/) said it received two cyber tips on June 24 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tips, which stemmed from the messaging app Kik, reported a total of 20 videos and two images of suspected child sexual abuse material tied to two separate accounts.

Investigators said one account contained 14 videos and two images, while the second account was linked to six videos. A phone number and IP address associated with the uploads were traced to a residence in Douglas County.
