🌸 Happy Mother’s Day Celebration! 🌸
Today we came together to celebrate Mother’s Day with our wonderful residents, their families, and our dedicated staff. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with good food, laughter, and heartfelt storytelling.
A huge thank you to our amazing staff who worked so hard to make this day special for everyone. Special appreciation to our talented chef Deborah
for the delicious meal — everything was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed!
Thank you as well to Spurgeon McWilliams for providing the smooth music that set such a perfect tone for the day.

Yesterday a few of our residents had a fantastic time celebrating Cinco de Mayo — right here in our community room!
We “traveled to Mexico” as we learned about the vibrant culture and history of the holiday. Everyone enjoyed homemade salsa with chips, sipped on refreshing lemonade sweet tea, and had fun taking pictures with festive photo backdrops.
It was such a joyful afternoon full of laughter, learning, and great company!

A big thank you to Agape Hospice for hosting our community’s Dementia Virtual Tour. It was such a valuable and insightful experience for both our staff and the families in our community.
We learned so much and truly appreciated the opportunity to deepen our understanding of dementia care.

☀️ What a beautiful day for a picnic at The Harbor at Douglasville
We took full advantage of the gorgeous weather and moved our gathering outside. The grill was fired up, residents enjoyed their meals in the fresh air, we played some fun games, and the music kept the good vibes going all afternoon.
It was such a joyful time seeing everyone smiling, laughing, and soaking up the sunshine together right here in our beautiful community.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff for making this outdoor picnic possible — from prepping the food to setting everything up and ensuring every resident had a wonderful time. Your hard work and caring hearts make all the difference!
