Hello Douglasville!

I feel led to offer an opportunity rarely found in Douglasville. I want to teach people how to hike and trail run more efficiently. This class is beneficial for anyone who is just beginning or experienced and looking to up their game. Orthopedic history and want to get moving, I have advice for you also!

This would be a two day course with three days of opportunity.
1. The first day is a talking day.
-What’s the best shoes?
-Where are some good trails?
-Attire?
-Body biomechanics of hiking/running?
-How to run uphill?
-How to increase endurance?
-Hiking and trail running in different weather?
-Endurance nutrition?
-Open discussion for questions

2. The opportunity to try it out.
-Two days of opportunity, one at Sweetwater and the other at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield
-Attire, water, and shoes required!
I have had these areas plotted out long ago.

I am a 15yr hiker/trail runner and my husband has run ultras and ran for over 25yrs. We have a lot of knowledge and experience we want to share with you guys. Ladies and gents are all invited.

Bring us your Junk!

Join us on Saturday, March 23rd for our annual Junk Dump event presented by Keep Douglas County Beautiful, in collaboration with Keep Georgia Beautiful! This event will be held at the Douglas County Courthouse from 9am-2pm, or until dumpsters are full. Make sure you bring any unwanted items, excluding the following:
- Paint
- Mattresses
- Tires
- Batteries
