Do I need a Vitamin D supplement?" In most cases, my answer is YES. Especially if you live in a northern climate, work indoors, or use sunscreen consistently. Vitamin D is crucial for bone health and immune function, and it's very difficult to get enough from food alone. A simple blood test can tell you if you're deficient.
