She is also a certified & registered Yoga Alliance instructor (RYT200) through Omland Yoga Studio in Bangor, Maine. In 2015, she completed the Full Moondala SUP Yoga Teacher Training in Wolfeboro, NH. In 2021, she completed the Mindfulness & Yog
a for Youth Athletes certification through ChildLight Education Company. In the off season, Jessica is an elementary school ESL teacher. She is also CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certified and water safety trained.

Introduction to Standup Paddleboarding- This 1.5hr class will cover the basics to get you started right; proper stance, balance, position on the board, efficient paddling technique & safety skills. Come out and give it a try... you'll love it!! SUP Yoga-- Perfect for yoga beginners & intermediate students this class offers moderate poses at a laid back pace to strengthen the body and calm the mind. Asana poses are introduced gently with modifications tailored to the student's experience level and comfort zone. Practicing yoga on a SUP board encourages focus and allows you to connect your body and mind on the water. Doing yoga on a board is challenging, but not as difficult as you'd expect. Kids SUP- Do your kids love the water? Get them started right with our SUP for Kids class. We will cover basic strokes, board control, and safety while building confidence and having fun playing paddle games near shore. Ages- 8+. Call for dates and pricing
Full Moon SUP-- Our special SUP lights will illuminate our boards and the water around us as we practice stroke technique under the moonlight. Don't miss out of this really cool moonlit adventure!
-All participants must be able to swim and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to fill out necessary paperwork and waiver.
-Cost: $35 per person for 1.5 hr. class (all equipment provided. *ALSO, BYOB- Bring your own board (if you have one) for a discounted rate of $25 (anchor rental is $10). Private classes can be arranged for additional cost for travel.
-Location: SUP yoga classes will launch on Sebec Lake, Bowerbank, ME, or in Hallowell, ME at Jamies Pond. Contact Jessica for info on private classes that can be arranged for a select location in Maine.
-All classes are weather permitting and are subject to change times or locations and may possibly be canceled if the weather doesn't cooperate.
-All equipment is provided: Stable paddleboard, P.D.F. (personal flotation device), leash & anchor.
-What to Bring: Swim gear/ shorts/ yoga clothing (clothing you won't mind getting wet), change of clothes (just in case), sunscreen, towel & water. Sunglasses & hats are optional, but may not stay on in the wind or in downward dog!
